We are concerned of the speeding and safety issue turning left from Reed onto skyline. Lots of near misses have occurred.

It is very unsafe and dangerous to turn into Skyline Dr. from Reed Dr. as some cars are driving very fast at the blind corner.

It is long past time for PBOT and the City to address the hazards of this intersection, which is also a School Bus stop.
A painted crosswalk, a speed camera, increased signage, and perhaps several lines of Bots Dots, (particularly on the Southbound lane before the Reed/Ramsay/Skyline junction,) would serve to both alert and slow down drivers in this corridor.
Between the Panavista and Ramsay neighborhoods, there are a very large number of households that utilize that egress, and are thus exposed to unsafe driving conditions.
The cost/benefit ratio for some simple but effective interventions at this hazardous intersection is beyond debate, and also long overdue.
We hope the City will have the wisdom and clarity to increase the safety of this area, for both the local residents, and those who traverse this oft used route.
Thank you in advance.

I have had many close calls here. Children also wait for the bus and cross the street. And new drivers have to make this turn. It is very dangerous.

I am amazed at how fast people go on this very curvy stretch of road

There is a need to have this stretch skyline reviewed by PBOT. There is a school bus stops here and neighborhood walkers that cross often challenged by safety od fpeeding drivers. Not to mention the late night and weekend speedster cruisers with reving engines, znd racing motorbikes.

A Tesla passed me Northbound on Skyline at Reed, though I had my signal on to turn left. It is a double yellow with a blind curve and he had to be going at least 50mph on the brief straightaway.

I have seen accidents happen due to the lack of visibility at the Reed Drive x Skyline intersection. Cars FLY along Skyline and at night you hear vehicles racing like it's PIR.

My children are put in danger by speeding vehicles at their bus stop every day. Similarly, exiting Reed Dr is dangerous as the traffic mirror often gets rain, fog or ice on it. If cameras and rad signs are all we can get, I'll take it. I would prefer speed bumps though

This has been a problem for years. Let's get it solved before real fatal accidents happen.

Preventing accidents helps not only neighborhood residents, but also drivers! Bike riders will also enjoy a benefit from this, as they sometimes speed too fast.

The intersection of NW Reed and Ramsey with Skyline Boulevard is extremely dangerous and nerve-racking due to the speed of vehicles heading south from Thompson.

Vehicles traveling
*well* over the speed limit is a daily occurrence and having our intersection on a curve makes turning (particularly left) on Skyline dangerous every day. Please consider our petition.
