Our kids are our future and our #1 priority. Their education is one of their most important aspects and here in UAE we bear a massive schooling cost funded by us, employed parents. Tough times are already upon all of us - regular people and parents of 1, 2, 3 or more kids that are in JC that are already struggling to provide for their families and need to keep their job or have already lost their jobs in turmoil and global recession following COVID-19 pandemic.
All undersigned petitioners are in agreement that required action from JC management in providing a discount to the school remaining term 3 tuition fee and waiver of payment for next year non-refundable reservations.
We believe that with e-learning, kids are no longer using school facility, the school is not providing extra curricular or school materials. Also no support staff are currently engaged which will have an impact on school running cost as well which represent additional cost saving for GEMS institute.
While each business and individual, private and government was tremendously impacted by this global phenomenon, we believe that schools and educational institute like JC also should be part and support parents and the community in these difficult times.
We all want to return our kids to JC back in September as regular and we don't want to explore the options of sending our kids to schools back home for elsewhere where education is either free or affordable but mounting financial pressure may force us to.
Prompt response from parents to this petition is required to support the continuity of our lives in UAE and continuity of school business and other business as well.

Dear JC School Management....Kindly consider waiver for Term 3 fees, as it has been a total wash out. While our son is in Grade 8 and daughter is in Grade 12, kindly also get fees refund for AS level as exams are cancelled. We seek your support in time of crisis. Thanks
The request for a rebate is fair considering all these classes are being conducted online now. The operating costs are significantly less. Please consider this fairly as other institutes have also done.
Please support your community of parents who are struggling during this time, as many of us have been affected financially. Please also look after our teachers who are our most valuable asset.
Also kindly address the issue of refund of GCSE exams which were payed by all yr 11 parents as now the exams have been cancelled. Thank you.
My son is in 8S1. We request you to consider a fee reduction as our businesses are hit by this global pandemic and we are unsure when things will be back to normal. We want our children to continue their education smoothly hence asking for some relief.

We would like Jumeirah College and KHDA to take current times in to consideration and assist families and parents by providing us with a discount for the last term of the year, but without impacting school staff salaries.
