My research work is late night, writing algorithm, running on the system through software take time , every time formulate the research problem direction will take time , most of the time , I sleep in lab , there are so many issue present which is not possible to write here

Excellence in a PhD should not be measured by attendance. It is an ongoing process until the goal is achieved. Limiting students to 8 hours of classes will only negatively impact their performance.

Absolutely, if timing is fix then actualworking hours should be rigidly followed all departments should shut down at 5.30 and Saturday Sunday must be off
