Petition for Restoration of Video Lottery Terminal Host Fees

It’s getting tougher and tougher to make ends meet as it is. There goes our taxes! Up and up! One of the few types of entertainment around here. Whats the problem. Restore the funds and help us out!

Please return the Video Lottery Terminal appropriations for Hamburg to the budget. The town needs the money to cover the costs incurred while hosting the racino. It is very unlikely that the town recovers these costs with increased business from visitors to the racino; most out of towners don't even know that there is a town outside of the fairgrounds, much less go there to spend money. They just go back to the thruway and leave. If the state receives the revenue from the racino it should reimburse us for the costs.

This aid is necessary for our hosting community of Hamburg! "VLT Aid is money paid by NYS to communities that host a "racino" casino with video terminals for gambling. It comes from the revenue generated by the video terminals that is paid to the state."

No tax hike, enough is enough..

Can’t afford a tax raise. I am a senior citizen and would have to leave my home that I have lived in for 36 years. We have to deal with all the traffic that is because of Hamburg Casino.

Please restore Video Lottery Terminal Host Fees for the Town of Hamburg and please include dash cameras along with the body cameras for NYSP and Erie County Sheriffs. Stop police corruption in WNY

Enough tax increases! You can no longer blame the weather for the mass exodus of people coming soon!

Property requires resources from numerous agencies in the Town of Hamburg for various emergencies and daily needs requiring taxpayer expenditures. Property is a profit making entity and should pay it's fair share as a good neighbor.

Please restore the video lottery terminal host fee. As a long term Hamburg, NY resident and a member of the Hamburg American Legion SAL Squadron 527, I can assure you this restoration is much needed in helping to continue financially supporting this wonderful town of Hamburg, New York!

Governor Cuomo, These funds are very important to our local government. Please rescind the claw back. Our municipal services support this location and we deserve the funding. My vote counts. PS- If we are supporting Puerto Rico, why aren’t we supporting Hamburg, New York? It happens to be where your lieutenant governor was born, right down the street from where we live on the lake.
