Small towns drive the economy of this state, and this is an undue kneecapping of communities that have striven to be self sufficient and reduce the need for state funding.

Cuomo continues to pass laws that have no benefit to tax paying citizens. Let's make our voices be heard at the next election of these Albany officials .

The host fees belong to the Town of Hamburg since we are the ones bearing the expense of policing it.

Hamburg Ny needs these funds back. The people of this town can it afford to lose these funds or make up for their loss through raised taxes.

The reasoning to discontinue the appropriations is that the Town already receives a benefit by having the "casino" in Town and benefits to local business. Really? Does anyone believe that the place draws in money from out of town? I hardly think the oldsters that frequent the casino are spending a lot at local restaurants and motels!
