Not really. If I get a new board majority the new management company I interviewed, which is half the price of our current Management company, will hold MONTHLY MEETINGS with the entire community with complete financial transparency and question and answer period.

I want to reiterate that the Board Members Jon Brier, Norma Eppinger, Karan Gleason, and Ethan Huisken (formerly) advocated for the closing of the pool in 2022. They also thought a simple meeting majority vote could accomplish the closing of the pool. I paid an attorney with my own money to confirm my reading of the Master Deed was correct, and it was: The POOL and CLUBHOUSE are protected amenities guaranteed with a purchase of your home. This means the board has a fiduciary responsibility to maintain and open this common elements (and other things) every year. Only a vote of 67% of the co-owner's agreeing to WAIVE their right to these protected amenities will warrant the closing of these common elements. Also, last July I secured THREE bids to refurbish the pool so it could be opened (cost ranging from 28K to 34K). we had the money in the reserves to do so, PLUS take care of outstanding work orders. I and Paryss Carter McGee and Dena Rice voted to open the pool LAST YEAR. However, a week later after the vote, Dena spoke with Jon Brier and changed her vote, thus delaying the opening until this year. So now she takes credit for opening the pool with the same contractor I previously obtained bids from!!!!. I could have had this opened LAST YEAR. Dena, Jon, and Norma prevented this.

6230 Beechfield. I have been pleased with recent changes like the reopening of our pool in line with what members overwhelmingly wanted, less happy about changes like the increase in fees at the time so many are struggling financially due to COVID and with local homelessness on the rise and some great neighbors displaced due to recent finances--but I also realize that I am not looking at the numbers to know what is required. Want to be clear that my signing is not taking any position other than to have the meeting and hear everyone out.

I appreciate you pointing out these discrepancies. I am disappointed that the current board cannot work together in harmony for the good of the community.
