My brother in law was admitted without my sister being allowed to stay with him. She has power of Attorney him and they would not let her in. They had him sign papers without him knowing why. They did not bathe him or change his clothes either.

This is so wrong and people are dying alone because of it. Unforgivable.

Being turned away from hospitals the. Dying at him is wrong. Being denied family support if you are sick is wrong. This is abuse of the people. Please change this asap

Signed in honor of my mother who is suffering with Parkinson's and in the nursing home. I have begged to be tested and able to come stay with her. But they keep refusing. I was told I could come in when she is in the active stages of dying and not before. This is elder abuse.

I know how you feel. Thank God that we weren't denied the right to be with our 94 year old mother when she was hospitalized. My prayers are with you

I removed my husband from a hospital in Birmingham, AL and drove him to an inpatient hospice facility in Ohio so I could be by his bedside so he was not alone. My husband was 64 years old with early onset Alzheimer’s. Your end of life days shouldn’t include a 600 mile drive so you can hold their hand and give them one last kiss.
Hugs & kisses to Julie & Terry
