As a volunteer I know what a difference AFAC makes in people's lives. Please don't make it harder for them to them to do their good work by taking away parking.

The changes that have already occurred in the area, where free parking has become paying parking, impair AFAC's ability to serve its clients, and directly harm its clients. Additional disruption to available parking will only exacerbate the situation. As an AFAC volunteer who frequently comes to the building close to distribution times, or to bring produce we grow for AFAC clients, I see first hand how challenging transportation is for clients and volunteers.
Arlington County should look for other alternatives so as to not adversely impact already disadvantaged members of our community. Thank you for your consideration.

AFAC is an extremely important part of our community, and is vitally necessary. The proposal to remove the parking spaces seems very short-sighted of the County.

Please do not deprive us AFAC volunteers of our parking spaces. I have volunteered with AFAC since 1981 and depended on parking near AFAC.

AFAC just celebrated its one-year anniversary for their remodel. For Arlington to help with that and then make it difficult for people to use AFAC by eliminating parking is ridiculous.

PLEASE don't take away the parking lot at Jennie Dean park!! AFAC clients and volunteers depend on those parking spots!

Parking in this area is already tight, eliminating the lit and street would make parking for any purpose nearly impossible including to use the ball field!

Parking in Shirlington is already very limited. Arlington County should reconsider its plans and engage the community in a discussion to ensure that the plans benefit the community as a whole.

Parking is vital to hundreds of volunteers that do community service work at AFAC. Even public school kids earning community service hours echo my sentiment. For the love of the greater community, let us keep this parking situation.
