This sentence is far to lenient as they permanently blinded a girl 4 years previously and they progressed to kill a man by beating him.

Definitely not a long enough sentence, especially if 'good behavior' is taken into consideration, it would be halved to only 4yrs. The streets are much safer without them and they have proved that... having a history of sheer violence,They showed no mercy and I believe they would do it again.

The sentences the group were given is absolutely disgusting. Not only did they beat sid to death, (which by any sane person's standards, is classed as murder) they done it in front of friends and family. To think somethings like this happened in my home town is heartbreaking, and then hearing the sentences these vile human beings were given is absolutely infuriating! Instances like this, they should bring back the death penalty, or at least a life sentence?!

Absolutely behind the petition of a longer sentence,they are vile nasty people and the only message this sentence is sending out is you can get away with anything including what they did and basically have no remorse and do it again and again and still go on and live their life as normal,yet people are scared frightened of what's next,they are never going to learn if they havnt by now,life 4 a life I say,a young boy had 9 years for kicking a boy in the face in Swansea and there was no motive to what he did to the guy attacked,the victim lived but obviously had severe injuries but thank god lived 2 tell the tale which is still not enough for that family understandably ,yet where is the logic that a hard working man/grandfather lost his life to 2 repetitive violent men and a the sentence was more leaneant for them all yet even the woman involved had 12 months and had already been remanded 4 6 months on the day of the trial so she was released 3 days later which in anybody eyes is disrespectful on so many levels ,and the 2 guys will be on by the time their 30 well where is the justice in that ,im scared for my children ,the justice system needs to be looked at ,maybe harsher penalties less crime ,they come down on wrong people ,if anything them men should be kept behind bars they've proved on so many occasions they cannot be trusted to control their anger and why is the justice system willing to risk more lives ,HEARTBREAKING
