While I am full virtual, my school is doing full hybrid and some kids depend on that. They need to be partially in school to feel safer yet be able to be in contact with other people. Having in person classes also increases productivity. Going full online or full virtual isn’t an option for these people.

Very much agree with this sentiment. Can't make it a full week and be safe. It's just not possible at the moment.

I believe we should just stay with online school. I have no problems with virtual learning. So why try to send us back when it dangerous

Rushing to return everyone is not safe. Hybrid would be better.

I agree that it is a big risk sending all of us. I am personally staying home but there’s other that feel they need to go back to school in person. There are people who live with younger siblings and older relatives that could be at risk.

We should care about the health and safety of our students and too send us all back this quickly without preparation is dangerous and irresponsible.

Naomi thank you for making this post. I really love this idea, and think sdol is being careless by giving us an all or nothing decision.

Do hybrid. There’s no point in exposing kids to covid as much as that.

I don’t want people to feel hurt or pressured over choosing between their learning or their safety, and honestly, these two — or three depending on the student — extreme options, are in my opinion, too hasty and not thought out enough for the student body to be able to get what they need and deserve: both safety and education.

We should start on Hybrid. We shouldn’t be treated as lab rats in an experiment. Our safety should be put out there as well. Also, that doesn’t mean we should be on Zoom from 8-3. There should also be an alternative to that as well.
