I know the feeling of not being prepared to compete at the high school level in sports because I didnt get to compete within AHSAA in middle school. I remember getting to high school as a freshman and wondering why everyone else was better than me. It really limited me as an athlete and I couldn't achieve my full potential.

Feeder school programs are very important to the success of high school athletic programs. Be fair to all students, no matter the religion, race, sex, or nationality. St. John Paul II Catholic High School deserves to be part of the middle school feeder program. It is time to be FAIR to ALL.

This would make our decision to transfer our children to Holy Spirit or St. John's so much easier.

I strongly support this initiative as it will greatly benefit our students. This will put us on par with other private and public schools, increase enrollment at Holy Spirit and St Johns as well as JPII.

It seems ridiculous that this inequality persists. We should obviously have feeder schools that are part of the state athletic governance structure. I cannot fathom the justification for this as an exception.
