US citizens pay attention to Health Canada's recommendations and guidelines, too. So getting the numbers right will help many people who don't live in Canada!

I have not had a cold or the flu since 2010, and I credit Vitamin D supplementation for it.

I call for the immediate re-evaluation of the recent statistical error found in the calculation of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vitamin D; as was found in : Veugelers PJ, Ekwaru JP. 2014. A statistical error in the estimation of the Recommended Daily Allowance for vitamin D.Nutrients20;6(10):4472-5. Also, a campaign should be launched in educating medical doctors to test their patients for this deficiency. I was this neglect to look for and test for this essential hormone that caused me to develop osteopenia and most likely other conditions. I find this most irresponsible of the medical community. Please respond to this neglected need.

There is too much credible research that proves that higher levels of Vitamin D3 are necessary. Please re-evaluate that your resources are adequate and credible to make a better educated decision.
