Recommendation should be to (1) get tested, (2) supplement with 5,000-8,000 IU per day, (3) retest in 3 months and adjust accordingly. A blanket recommendation of a fixed daily value are completely illogical.

Please include professionals on the committee who have the requisite understanding of the subject and point out the flaws in the outdated studies on which the committed ha relied in reaching its conclusions.

On 5000 a day I DROPPED from 52 to 37. Back on 10000 a day I'm back at 55 after 6 months. I PM recc is much too low for my physiology.

Your serum vitamin D goal should be 60-80 ng/ml, and your wintertime supplement recommendation should be 15-20 KIU of D3.

many more people besides government should b involved in these decisions. different kinds of doctors from different areas, etc. different college professors . . dieticians . . people need to research for themselves also
