Ridiculously low recommendation. I live in Ireland, with a latitude the same as southern Canada and I had to take 10,000 units a day to get my test up to the minimum level. 600 units might be okay for people who can afford to take two sunshine holidays a year.

Many people are very low in vitamin D we need mcuh higher recommended levels to keep us all healthy, especially those with cancer, osteoporosis etc.
