The company has taken precautions for many groups allowing them to work from home or stay at home with pay. Even other departments who are in field workers have been given changes of schedule and essentially working half the month while receiving full time pay. This schedule change is not an option for some. As we are emergency. So the only fair alternative is a compensation.

I agree with this petition. We are at risk every day keeping the system on for the public. The government never show any appreciation on what we do ..

We risk our lives day in and day out to provide utilities to the greatest city in the world. Now, not only are we risking our lives, we are risking our families lives as well by going to work everyday and possibly becoming infected with Covid19. Hazardous work pay should be given to the employees that cant work from home.

Brothers and sisters it’s not about the money but the devastating circumstances behind this pandemic. This is a safety net for our families, loved ones, and recognition of us risking our health like the first responders. Pray for all our first responders and medical staff who should also be entitled to this pay being on the front lines making the ultimate sacrifice to humanity.
