This is disgusting. Animals aren't decorations, no matter how small they may be. Not setting the greatest example to kids about responsibility.

This is atrocious, even more so in a school where the environment is supposed to be one of learning.
This only teaches that life is to be discarded, responsibilities don't matter.
This is animal abuse, no different than tying a puppy to a tree and leaving him to die.
You should be appalled.

How irresponsible! Disgusting even. This is not how living things should be treated and I sincerely hope his school sees the error of its ways and makes the lives of these poor fish as good as they can. I mean doing a weekly water change isn't even that hard!!

I keep fish and I don't claim to be perfect. I understand tanks get dirty, but this is disgusting! Clean it or get rid of it!!

That's disgusting. My children went to Hartselle & as far as I know nothing like this happened when they were there. What are the adults in this school thinking?

It's sad to see the condition the tank has been in for weeks and several students have asked for some one to clean it

Have volunteers to keep it up, or, just remove it. Something should be done,and it is unbelievable that no one has done something before now. At least made it beautiful instead of nasty and now this debaye. How embarrassing of our school.

What kind of example are you setting? Even if you don't care about what happens to the living animals in that tank, this is not the kind of behavior you should be demonstrating. If I were the parent of a student, I would be appalled!

The bacteria growing in the tank is and can be extremely harmful for the students to be breathing in the air.
