I don’t really understand this policy or the meaning behind it? It totally discriminates a student that may have mental health concerns or any other for that matter and is trying to pursue anything different than the traditional school system.
I am really hoping the Grand Ledge School Board will reconsider changing this policy and realize it’s a different time and time for a change.
Consider the young people and our community.

I'm a student at relevant and I think it would be good for future relevant students to be able to attend glhs sports, dances and public football games. When they get excluded from these activities it's some what feels segregated like relevant students can be apart or the social aspect on are town. Relevant students are band from the high school with posters at the school threatening legal actions if relevant students do take part in any grand ledge high school activities. The high school and relevant went so far as to send trust passing letters to relevant students saying if we do attend any future glhs public events or step on property we will be forced with criminal charges. So I guess my question is if they're not letting relevant students on high school property why would they let us attend any grand ledge high school sports. The high school sends trust past wonderings to relevant students asking us to kindly never come on high school property because we are not affiliated with the high school but then again I see this potions asking people to sing to have relevant students attend high school sports reschedule and this message will disappear I want an answer
Sincerely
Samson Miller from relevant academy

I think students who are currently participating in GLHS sports should still be allowed to participate even if switching to online school. Especially, if the sport is not funded by the school (ex. The Pompon team). As long as the student upholds the GLHS athlete grade requirements and participates in the fundraising for the funding of the team, they should be allowed to participate.

if you do online classes through the school, you are still associated with that school. therefore, let them participate in activities THROUGH THE SCHOOL!

I would like for kids to be able to continue playing sports, switching to an online class shouldn’t make them illegible for sports, they are still a part of our community and deserve to be included.

Olivia should be allowed to stay on the team and continue doing the sport she loves!!!
