I would love a closer fenced in area that I could use. I have used the one on earl Armstrong near the fire department. The distance walking in Bruce Pitt is too hard for me.

Yes please...my dog is little and Bruce Pit can be very overwhelming for her and some owners are not close enough to their dogs due to the size of the park. She loves to run, walk and play. Having a smaller, gated space for her to run and play safely would be very much appreciated. There are lots of amazing little pups in the neighbourhood that she gets to know on her walks and it would be fun to have a space for them all to come together and exercise! Bells Corners is a wonderful location for trails and nature but not all trails are dog friendly.

Yes! Everything she said. I can't (and won't) take my little dog to Bruce Pit. As long as everyone cleans up after their dog (*its the law, people!) this is a great idea! ❤

I think that Westcliffe really needs this dog park and there is space for it. I hafe lived where dog parks were very successful and the location is walkable. I would like to see separate fencing for small dogs and large dogs to provide security for all breeds as has been done in many models elsewhere.
