This is an online petition for exam exemptions for Vestavia HIlls High School. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to exempt exams, as an incentive for making good grades. The exemption policy also encouraged students to avoid missing school.

Exam exemption is so important to me. It encouraged me to do well in all my classes, especially the ones that I wanted to exempt. It's an incentive to not miss school, too. I had less stress, and I know I will be very stressed if we can't exempt this year. Also, to the teachers who say we need to take exams to be ready for college, we are still taking exams.. just one less exam than normal.
I believe that every student should have an opportunity for an exemption towards the end of the year. Not only will it help the students but it will also cause less stress. I also believe that seniors should get an opportunity to exempt all of there exams based on there academic on how the do at school.
Exemptions gave me more time to study for other exams and I had better overall grades because of it.
The only reason i didnt miss a lot of school days and worked even harder in my classes
I think exempting an exam can relive some stress on freshmen especially since it's our first time taking them and we don't know how it works it would help to have one less think to worry about
I have all A's i should not have to take my exams!!!

Yet one more change, could this not of been told to them the first day of school. For the seniors, 4 principals, numerous assistant principals and new rules each one, they deserve some consistency .
