This past semester Johns Creek High School achieved exemptions of finals for all Juniors and set precedent for most Fulton County High Schools. Alpharetta High School and Chattahoochee High School are implementing the same policies for their Juniors. We would like to push for these policies to be implemented at Northview High School. It is the most stressful week and I feel like if I have an a and I take a test and fail I shouldn’t have a 70 after earning an a working hard throughout my whole semester because one test is 20 percent of my grade
we need this!!!! northview classes are already more challenging compared to other high schools, and finals only lower our grade, which makes us comparatively disadvantaged. last week of semesters could be fun so that we end each semester on a high note and also let us look forward to the well-deserved break from school, but because of finals, they are instead the most stressful week of the semester.
This would motivate juniors to get As throughout the semester so they would not have to take finals. Such a great incentive!
I don't know of a logical reason why Northview wouldn't follow the standard set by other schools and allow juniors to exempt. It seems like a pointless policy that causes unneeded stress for students. This is one simple way to show that you're serious when you say you want to reduce stress for Northview's students.
Most of us are already stressed with AP exams and standardized tests so it would greatly reduce our stress to be able to exempt finals.

Too tru, we have SAT/ACT along with all these other things that we have to worry about :/ It is just too much stress to a final, it should be time to unwind before most of us study over the summer for another year of tests and college applications...
