Don’t be unfair to the girls softball teams by replacing them with the baseball teams and making the girls softball team use the other field if you’re gonna do that, do your due diligence and take care of the lower fields. Stop prioritizing one sport over another. These are kids let them have fun and don’t create havoc and problems.

It is unfair to the girls to take their softball fields and limit their practice time. the boys baseball is no more important than the girls softball! Female athletes are already losing scholarships and athletic tournaments due to biological males being allowed to compete in in female sports teams!

It's time that boys sports STOP taking automatic priority over girls sports. Do something about it. These softball players deserve the same opportunities as the baseball players. Period.

Goodlettsville softball is one of the strongest rec softball leagues in Middle Tennessee. It should be celebrated, not minimized.

It seems there should be available funds for equal treatment given the number of teams/ tournaments that happen in the city.

Goodlettsville Parks makes enough money to add MORE fields, rather than taking away from the girls/softball. People complain there isn’t enough things for kids to do… Create more things/spaces/fields. Build it, and they will come!

Goodlettsville softball is the heart and soul of creating and producing a long tradition of talented softball players. Goodpasture, Beech, Davidson Academy, Pope, and now Liberty Creek, all are former or current State Champions and many of the players got their start at Moss Wright. ( GFPS )

So disappointing, Baseball should not proceed softball! I understand there is more baseball teams but that should have been looked at prior to signups. It’s not ok!

I was a parent of a baseball player for many years. I love the quad. I totally disagree with moving the little girls down to that single field that has always been for adult church leagues and etc. In my opinion it is not child friendly for spectators because it poses a danger being so close to the road.

It’s really not a good move for the city to ask the girls sports to sacrifice their fields and playing time.
I hope they reconsider.
