I'm a mother of three boys. This is not fair to the girls. We need to accommodate the girls the very same as the boys. !

Please heavily consider the fact that baseball gets 3 time slots for practice and softball only 2. That should not be happening.

My daughter has played in this since she was 5yrs. The city has room to build more Fields on the bottom. But they want to cut the girls Opportunities to grow.

My daughters no longer play, but this has been an issue for a long time. I’m glad someone is trying to do something to resolve it!

I was on the GGFS board a few years ago so know first hand how baseball try’s to take any opportunity they can to get fields 6&7. Understand why but not right. A softball coach/team should have a three practice a week opportunity on these fields just like baseball has for their teams. Field 7 at one time was strictly for softball only, when ever needed, and then field 6 was available to baseball ONLY if softball did not need. With that I understand the issue with the additional baseball players/teams but can’t forget about softball. This park has a rich softballs history over the years all the way back to the late 1970’s.
Looks like it’s time to do some fundraising or allocate City funds to build an additional quad with concessions and restrooms. If you do move softball to field 2 there is no concessions, limited parking, and restrooms are a couple hundred yards away. As well as it’s not truly a softball field. Old baseball field that is cut for baseball with softball length bases and no pitching mound.

We would love to see our girls have access to the quads where our children can play safely and not have to cross the street to go to the restrooms. Our families and teams should be able to have access to concessions while our children are playing. Our daughter’s deserve equality at Moss Wright Park.

Girls should not have to compete with boys for field space. The city needs to do right by the community considering how many years are spent at Moss Wright.

Softball in Goodlettsville has been neglected for years. The program can’t grow without field time. There needs to be balance so the girls have the same opportunity to play.

The girls softball is as important as boys baseball!! I have raised my kids both boys and girls played there . They are all parents now with kids playing there in both softball and baseball. It seems to be a terrible trend pushing girls softball to the side !! That is not fair !!
