We the Muslim Community of Walnut Creek Masjid, Darulislam Masjid and Walnut Creek Canter.
After the failure of all our efforts to solve the problems in the leadership of the Masjid, we the undersigned of this Petition are calling for an election for new Board of Trustees and the Executive Board through an open election by the general body of the Masjid members and the Muslim community.

the masjid belongs to ALLAH! no one deserves to call himself a man of the mosque if he kicks kids out and if he closes the masjid on people trying to praise Allah! we need change!
Changes and reform is way overdue. Election is a very basic notion of any Masjid
We need elections. Not a dictatorship.
Rights of the People is the right to vote for their leadership. Need election now.
It looks like all these hate comments are coming from one person writing anonymously or making different accounts. Same type of comments with same language. At least be a little careful when you post like that so that you can convince me not to sign this petition. Very weak arguments!!!
Someone should have done their homework. lets do election
This petition is very misleading and doesn't include all the details. For example, it doesn't mention the fact that the signer of the checks had permission from the board at the time. This petition only shows the weakness of the creators of this petition, in addition to the fact that they have personal problems. Dear petitioner, why didn't you bring these issues up before while you were on the board of trustees. Why would you call the police instead of trying to resolve the issues that you had with the appropriate parties? Why are you spreading absurd rumors about Dr. Hossam and Dr. Nabeel which we know are false? Why do you need to yell and scream to get your point across. This shows your "power hungry" nature as another commenter pointed out. You've been telling people not to donate because the board will steal the money and yet you were part of the board. How absurd! Don't think people will follow you just because you feed them at picnics. There's no need to resort to uncanny lies. There is no hidden camera in the sister's section. That is beyond imagination. How low can you go? You're spending your money on dividing the community instead of trying to bring it together as Allah swt has commanded us. Do you have to have a position on the board and only then will you attend the masjid as a slave of Allah? Were you yourself allowed by law to post the financial information for the public on your petition as you have done? I saw the letter at the masjid that said you're removed from the board. Just accept it and move on.

this petition is purely based on power hungry individuals. i love this masjid and do not stand by the creators of this petition who will use any means to accomplish their selfish goals. they have no sense of reality, and i do not support their wahhabi ideology. all they do is cause havoc in front of children, youth, and furthermore they have violated the community by making false accusations and stealing our email addresses to send us garbage and spam. WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL FIGHTS! the community simply wants this group of individuals to STOP.
