Let's keep money in the community! This town has little draw for growth, don't take away what it does have. The revenue that the city will gain from the taxes in these lots for ever is a huge plus for the city alone. The club house that is planned will bring more local businesses income. Only see this as a win win situation for the city and the residents!

Our community is in great need of this multifaceted venue and I think It would be a huge loss to our community if we did not TRY to encourage the city to reconsider their position on this.

My son absolutely loves to play golf. I think it would a shame to loose this opportunity the pros out way the cons.... please reconsider

West Branch wants a recreational center you have one in Cedars Edge. If you build it they will come!

Many thanks to the community for helping Tammy and Jerry clean the golf course up. Lets keep it opened for kids in the future that want play.

I moved back to West Branch (home) 3 months ago, considering Cedar's Edge one of the community's most valuable assets, especially seeing the improvements that the Sexton's and numerous volunteers made to the golf course in a few short months! Given the improvements made and plans for this area in the future, please consider a partnership with the Sexton's should the Miller's agree to sell for a reasonable price. A golf course, reception hall, restaurant will surely make West Branch a more desirable community to live in!

Around five months ago I looked out my window and all that I saw was a pasture. With the help of the community and lots of hard work from Jerry, Tami and their family, it turned into a golf course in a matter of weeks. I think our town needs the course to stay open and if the City can do anything to help out I feel the community would appreciate it.

In order to grow a city needs amenities. A golf course, reception hall and pool all are high on the City's own amenities wish list so I hope there's a way that the Millers, Sextons and City can all come together with some compromises from each to make this work.

These are the type of amenities that a community needs, in order to promote growth. I strongly encourage the city to do what they can to support this endeavor.

We don't golf anymore but had a great time with friends for years at cedar edge golf course

One of the reasons we chose the area and comes up in conversation on a regular basis in our Coralville business! West Branch has to support people that put out to help the community

You will not just be helping a development , but saving the golf course . The course is in the best shape its been in for years. do u really want it to back to weeds.Jerry and Tammy have worked 14-16 Hrs days to do it. Not to mention the reception facilities. The tax dollars coming back to the city. The values of the houses in the Greenview and Bickford addition, going down if the golf course goes way. Come on people STEP UP and give them the help they need !!!!

Paula Parra. Growing up in West Branch this is where I took swimming lessons, been to weddings and even worked out there when the Hearst's had it. My cousins Tammy and Jerry Sexton and the community has put so much work into getting it going again. Even though I cant be there as I live in CA now, I'm hoping the community gets together at the meeting and let Cedar Edge open again and be a part of the West Branch Community as it should be!!
