Mr. Chatman is an upstanding member of the Georgetown community with a long track record of being not only supportive but honest. He has been a positive, guiding influence in my life since the days of my youth. I find Mr. Chatman's demotion not only unfair but absurd in that the ALLEGED, single occurrence action of his employees are in no way a reflection of the provision of improper training or supervision on his part. Furthermore, the employees' alleged actions are certainly not representative of his many years of service to the Georgetown community. Not only should Mr. Chatman be reinstated but he is also due an apology from the city and compensation for any missed pay and damage to his reputation.

Family man treat did not deserve to be Demoted. I honestly feel folks think just because Georhetown has it's 1st African American Mayor, folks should be satisfied and take whatever you all bring to them as n d.c. what y'all say go. Did yall even give him and the others an investigation before interrupting their households?

The decision to demote Mr. Chatman was a very extreme measure that was unwarranted. Mr. Chatman is one of the most respected men within the entire city of Georgetown SC amongst his peers, colleagues, friends, and family. This decision was not well-planned, nor was it neccessary. His leadership ability has been immaculate and his reputation precedes him. I urge that this decision is overturned and Mr. Chatman is reinstated.
