Our water bill raised $170/ month for a very small lot. Can't imagine the cost per month for the bigger lots.

I was prepared to pay a little more once we started metering, but this is ridiculous!

We had meters in Rigby on an acre. Surprisingly we are paying more here on a third of an acre. Our yard looks pretty bad especially in the back yard.

My bill has more than doubled. Their meter readings say I'm using over 500 gallons of water between 6 am and 8 am. There is no way 2 people taking 10-15 minute showers uses 500 gallons of water! We have cut our sprinklers time down and our lawn is dying. It just seems like a scam!!!!

I think that the water is too high in cost. It should be half as much.

I live on .75 of an acre and water my yard for 30 minutes 3 times a week . My last bill was $250 !!!! I watered my grass so little in August to try to lower my water bill that my grass was yellow and dead . This is insane !

I agree with the water being too expensive. We have many in old Ammon that are single or on fixed incomes who can't afford the high water rates. We take pride in our neighborhood and look out for each other. Something has to change.

3/7/2019 City Council Members Russell Slack, Craig Tibbitts, and Scott Wessel all voted in favor of the proposed water rates to be implemented on 4/1/2019. They are to blame for not taking the public outcry into consideration and just pushing the matter through!!! They had their minds made up long before the public hearing. Not that that even mattered since they didn't listen to anyone any way. We need a RECALL VOTE on them!!!!

My increase has been about $120 per month (which more than doubled my monthly bill). Hopefully it won't take a brownish summer filled with dead lawns across Ammon to get this resolved!

The increase has been unbelievable. At first I tried to really limit watering in early hot summer but the grass trees and plants were just not healthy. I increased the water to keep my large lawn green and I am one of the $500 bills. It would be a slit to ask a buyer to consider a home where the cost would be $500 above the mortgage and property tax

I understand conservation is important, but the prices established are too expensive. Ammon will be stigmatized and real estate could be harder to sell.

My water bill has now been over $100 each month and I hardly water. If my bill continues this way I won't be watering the lawn at all next summer

Ammon yards are getting out of control. We are not hurting for water in Idaho. They need to revalued the water rate structure.
