Our water bill has increased 300 percent. And many of the neighbors are just letting their lawns die. The neighborhood is going to look like a wasteland in no time.

We have lived in Ammon for over 30 years and have many mature pine trees, aspens and other large trees. These rates will force me to not provide my landscape and trees the correct amount of water which will lead to them dying. The city counsel has misled the citizens in Ammon in regards to this additional cost. They should not be allowed to pull a bait and switch telling us one thing and making us pay for the reality. It appears they did not put enough research or analysis into how much the rates would increase. I am. It sure where they got their information but it was completely wrong. The city council needs to re assess how they got this so wrong and then provide a cost effective solution. We do not need part time council men and women impacting our finances so profoundly when they themselves obviously can not even give us accurate information.

Metered water is acceptable, but the rates need to be adjusted to a reasonable rate. It should not cost $200 a month to keep my lawn green!

Your price for water is absolutely ridiculous my bill has doubled for your services I moved into this town because I like it I didn't know Amman was gonna bend me over and put it to me just like everybody else in this town..Your agreed is making me considering moving. BE REASONABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just moved to Ammnand was shocked when our first water bill was $200! We had just left the sprinklers on the same setting as the previous owners, but boy were we shocked at the expense.

They said it would only go up 16.00, So you do the math 49 to 120.00. Thats not 16.00 its like 70.00

My bill has increased by 61%. It's absolutely outrageous. We're just a household of 3 and we thought we didn't go through so much water but apparently not! We've kept our sprinklers at the very minimum and now it's half burned up. This needs to be changed back to the old billing!

A small increase would be understandable, but my bill has nearly doubled. No one in my neighborhood is watering their lawn this year because of it. We can’t afford to! This needs to end.

Our water bill has doubled for watering our lawn 3 times a week! The water pressure is lower so it isn’t hitting the same spots it has in the past! I am beyond upset!

My bill this month is $222. Last month it was $256. In July it was $178. June $168. May $105 which is what it always was prior to metering. My Aug Bill was 143% larger than prior to metering.
