We have had a reduction in income this year and I cannot believe how high our water bill was this month. It’s like a small car payment that I didn’t anticipate. This has been handled poorly.

There are only two of us living here and don't use much water and the bill has gone way up. My back yard lawn is totally dead and brown as I have not been able to water it. The front has had very little and looks bad. I have a big lot and water needs to be affordable. When my Mom passes away I will be moving out of the area. No more.

Just more government overreach making it more and more unaffordable to live the “American Dream”. There is absolutely no reason in wildfire country where people have to pay unreasonable water bills to keep their grass green. Grass that most paid a pretty penny to get because it’s not included when you build, which is equally as ridiculous.

They are price gauging. It is a ridiculous amount to charge. I am so disappointed in Ammon leadership. Its no longer a pleasant city to deal with.

Legalized price gouging for water...........plus they charged us $3,000 for fiber install when other municipalities do not charge their residents for the install. I think we need new leadership in Ammon.

The increase was way more than I expected and I feel the change was severely downplayed by the city.

Our Ammon bill 04/10/19 was at $115.13. My bill for 09/10/19 is at $241.43. That's a pretty dramatic increase for a household of only two people. I thought price gouging was illegal. A lot of our neighbors absolutely cannot afford this so they are simply not watering lawns. The yards in our neighborhood have definitely taken a hit which could be considered an additional fire hazard to an insurance company, Curb appeal is at an all time LOW which is not great for our home values.

My bill has literally doubled! I’m a single home owner. I can’t imagine how much a family must be paying. Please lower the rates!!!

This water billing is going to kill our property values. I call it the yellowing of Ammon, as it is too expensive to water our lawns. Also, when people are looking for houses and compare to IF, where they aren’t metered, they are going to choose IF. We are not paying for water, this is a revenue source for the city to pay for other things.

At the current price of water I fear our Ammon yards will not get watered and will decline property values.
Please help make water prices reasonable again!!
