I find it ridiculous how the city of Ammon can change everyone to metered as well as expect us to pay thousands to have the water lines changed to have the townhomes get their own sprinkler system

There definitely needs to be a change. Its ridiculous the amount we pay when everyone else around us is so much less. If they are trying to make ammon an unfriendly place to live they are on a good start.

I agree that the prices are now reflecting unfair burdens on our home owners. The city of Ammon should not be higher than other Idaho city rates in the area. The only end result of this will be Under watered lawns which will bring down property values and reflect poorly on city management.

As if my property tax had not gone up enough. Tripling my water bill to the point where I’m ready to let my lawn die should not be an issue.

Only 7,000 gallons allowed per month is ridiculous. I am not excessively using water and am only at my house 10 days per month and yet somehow I still manage to go over. It’s Ludicrous! Water is essential just like power and needs to be affordable!

Our bill was $190 last month. This will certainly make those families who can’t even absorb this outrageous increase to either let there yards burn up or have to move out of the area because they can’t afford the increase. I’m concerned about the reputation we are getting for skyrocketing costs in utilities making our properties undesirable for resale PLEASE make water affordable for the common citizen again.

We have been drastically overcharged for water. Our metering is off and we are having a lot of trouble trying to get someone out here to check on it. Not only is the city overcharging for water in general, they aren’t even willing to fix mistakes that are made. We’re being overcharged by $100 for water we aren’t even using!

Our increase has averaged at least $100 more each month and my usage is low and my lawn dry. We turn off AC even though it has been an extremely hot summer to offset the cost.
