We are on a fixed income and if our water bill continues to increase we will have no choice but to let our lawns die. It was our understanding our bill wouldn't be this high. Why are the rates so high?

My bill for just last month increased by $80, just a little more than the $16.77 promised. My yard is dying with that increase. I shutter to think how much my bill would be if my grass was actually healthy. This action by the city is going to effectively lower property values. Currently, I would not recommend to anyone to move to property in Ammon. The cost of living is too high as will be the cost of doing business. Great job Ammon. Way to kill growth. It is now cheaper to live in Idaho Falls. These ELECTED officials do come up for re-election. Changes absolutely need to be made.

Our bill went from $70 a month to $300 a month. It is outrageous and we don’t have a huge yard and we only water a few days a week.

City apparently doesnt care how the city looks. I live in an area where most of the lots & yards are around an acre. This year most of the lots have bunt up because nobody wants to pay for outrageous water usage

All residents should be metered or none. Sad to see unmetered homes watering 24/7 while metered users have to struggle. Might need to go Arizona style with a gravel yard.

Our water bills have increased immensely, except our most recent one went down about $10 because were trying to conserve. Our lawn is drying out though and isn’t as nice as it always has been. And! Not everyone in the neighborhood is metered. It isn’t fair that we’ve been metered since early spring and others haven’t been. Grr!

Outrageous!

I am extremely frustrated on how high my water bill is, also in my subdivision not all of the homes are meter. How is that fair, when a select few have been metered since March and the majority of the other homes are not.
