We are on a fixed income and once we get metered we will NOT be able to afford this type of increase!! Do we need to consider moving out of Ammon so we can have water resources we can afford????

City needs to make it fair for everyone. Go back to un-metered water until 100% have meters. Then only charge for what they use $1=1000 gallons. no base rate. Or give us 7,000 for the $30 we are paying,

I am a widow and on fixed income and it is hard to have enough money to pay the water bill in the summer. I like a nice yard but the bill is so high I am having a hard time keeping a nice looking yard.

The prior base rate of almost $100 per month was already inflated.
This model for the new water rates was chosen for a quick fix for the lack of water wells and storage. Water storage should be on the foot hills allowing for some gravitational pressure for the lower Ammon residents. Start at the first 10,000 gallons per family residence free and set rate from there, or make it up as you go.....

My bill jumped over $50 the first month alone, I’m scared to see what this month will bring. My poor yard is yellow, because I don’t want to see the bill of watering too much.

HOA is all over me because lawn has turned brown. Can't afford water rates will probably sell. This is absurd and they have found a way for revenue and are screwing the public!

Change needs to happen. Ammon is a great place to live. This will force some to move out and keep potential buyers away. Rate hikes of over 10 times what was initially reported for the same water usage as prior...... Ridiculous!,
