I know it might seem like "the student must have worked hard or he wudnt be in this situation" but I don't think so. there are times when things don't go the way we want them to, but that doesn't mean it shud be the end of us. This argument might not be completely genuine as some might take advantage of this situation but intotal, this seems much better than losing somebody with genuine issues and being ignored.

This is very unfortunate that professors at IIT are very rude and not student friendly.they treat their students as a labour.no respect,no mercy.

Disgraceful conduct from the security guards and admin, i was there when we broke the door, i got to know about his mails to certain professors and how they ignored the situation and failed him in their courses.

Apparently the authorities were laughing about the situation on the night of the incident. If this is so, please collect statements from people who can confirm and go to the media.

Administration should take these cases seriously. This is not a single case anymore. If this continues, IIT Guwahati will become a symbol of neglect and systematic failure which overlooks the overall wellbeing of its students.
