Build it! Make sure it has a larger bowl area. This often left out.

This would be awesome to have a skatepark in this area as well at Solano Park! Amazing things can happen with a skatepark in your community.

This is a fine location. Skateparks aren't noisy. The designated park area is huge and almost never used. Build on the south side closest to the playground and bike path and away from the residents. Would be a great addition to the neighborhood. Dads and kids will love this! Let's do this!

I think it’s also important to consider what went into selecting this spot? A skate park is going to attract more than just Moon Valley kids, think of everyone within a 5 mile radius, including teenagers and young adults. There are plenty of suitable locations within the vicinity, Cave Creek Park off Thunderbird and the park behind North Canyon high school to name a few. The north side of Moon Valley park is a terrible location.

Absolutely NO to this horrible idea. There are other, more appropriate, safe sites. This site is an unsuitable location for many compelling reasons, including 1) It would be disrupt the tranquility and beauty of a quiet a peaceful, quiet neighborhood park which has been there for over 30 years. 2) This kind of noisy and busy venue should be in an area with NO homes overlooking it, ESPECIALLY directly across the street and facing the proposed venue. 3) There is NO parking allowed along the park (along the proposed site). 4) The sports teams and athletes who use the proposed site for games, training and fitness activities would be displaced.

I am a 20 year resident on Tierra Buena Lane. I DO NOT want a skateboard facility on the north side of the park. I am not willing to deal with the parking issue, noise & sight. The southeast area is flat, near parking & would be far less intrusive to residents. I am prepared to fight this issue. Karen Kukey
