Petition for a pedestrian bridge over A23 near K2 & Thomas Bennett School

please put a bridge here it is such a dangerous piece of road

I visited the site with a local councillor 3 years ago to try and get a bridge across this dangerous road, I crossed this road to get to work everyday and warned him this would happen. I witnessed drivers exceeding the 50 mph limit tegularly at excess speeds with kids running across the road in front of cars. I hope finally they will take notice however I am very sad that another person has lost their life. I am happy to sign this petition.

Having a bridge over this road would be the best thing the council could spend there money on its so dangerous

Too many deaths and accidents

This road really needs a bridge. Children cross this road every day for school. Not many people follow the 50 mph speed limit or slow down near the lights. Please put a bridge here for the safety of the children.

I started a petition after my brother was killed at the crossing ..now another life has been taken ..maybe it will make a difference

Please make a pedestrian bridge to stop these deaths from happening

With the amount of children and families that have to cross the A23 between Stadium Roundabout and K2 twice a day, a single traffic light controlled crossing isn't safe ir sufficient, especially as the underpass by Stadium Roundabout is prone to flooding, so unusable at times.

PUT A BRIDGE ! YOU WOULD IF IT WAS YOUR CHILD KILLED.

This bridge is needed...the lights don't work properly and a young lad lost his life a few years ago too...how many more lives taken on this road before the council and government stop thinking of their money budgets ....this should of been built years ago...

Please please please do this before anyone else loses their life. X

This should of been done years ago I sadly lost a friend at the traffic lights and all they did was put stupid signs up saying wait for the green man

Something needs to be done. There maybe lights there but they are very quick and confusing. Please put a bridge there so we don't have any more fatalities. A young boy lost his life there already.
