The Baypointe Golf Course, located at 9410 Harbor Greens Way, Seminole, FL 33776 was closed in 2016, then purchased by Pinellas County in 2020. The site is currently undergoing redevelopment and the county intends to use the property for stormwater improvements, conservation, and passive recreation. This petition is to show support for a disc golf course to be used as the passive recreation element on the property.

I would love another disc golf course in this area! It is a rapidly growing sport that supports family fun and bonding, outdoor activity, both mental & physical wellness, and exercise. I would use this course myself at least 2x per week.
This is so close to our home, my husband and I will likely walk the course with our sons and grandkids, monthly or more often. Disc golf is such a great sport to span generations and abilities and get people off the couch and active outside.
I would play disc golf at this location around 4x/month if it were made available! Great low-impact use of this land adjacent to the intracoastal waterway!
I’m 62 and found disc golf to be a wonderful hobby/sport to keep me active. I’m recently playing 3 to 4 times a week and would play more at this location ( probably 5 to 7 times a week).
The course sits there with barley any upkeep. The disc golfers in the area do a great job of taking care of the courses, look at Taylor Park. Also the amount of balls that would have hit the condos there and are left on the grounds and water would have no comparison to how many discs would be left.
I was told to be disc golf? Well there needs to be more disc golf

I currently play disc golf 3 to 4 times a week in the area and would like to play a new course. The current courses have been getting busier with the influx of players since 2020.
