This petition is for Glacier Hockey Association to roster and run its own High School hockey program for the 2025-2026 season. We, the
families and supporters of current and future High School players, are
making this request because we believe that it's advantageous and timely
for GHA to roster its own team. The main reasons for this are:
- GHA has worked continually to provide programming that is well structured, coach supported, and held to accountability
- GHA's hockey development model is high quality, well-proven, and constantly tested and improved
- Our older players will benefit by implementing that programming at our highest level of local youth hockey, high school
- GHA can offer coach development that not only supports the mission but supports the growth and development of the coach
- This would create organizational continuity from the Learn to Play program all the way through to the culmination of youth hockey at the 18U level
Now is the time to offer up an alternative to the Fusion hockey experience.
We firmly believe that GHA, the association that our children have grown up with, will best serve our members and the community by fielding its own High School hockey program.

The momentum behind this push proves that families are done waiting for the Fusion status quo to improve. Glacier Hockey Association leadership needs to stop stalling and pay attention to the clear demand for a real high school program.
