Petition - Croyde planning application - green field in AONB

This is not needed and definitely not wanted.

This is an AONB - treat it as such instead of exploiting it

This is over use of camping facilities in an AONB. We have to draw a line somewhere or we will have 6 months of July and August.

This is a village and an area of out standing NATURAL beauty. People visit here for that reason. Contining to developing this area will destroy the uniqueness of Croyde and what makes it OUTSTANDING from other areas. Allow Croyde its beauty. I totally agree with the wording of this petition and the other comments supporting it.

Please do not allow further erosion of Croyde , it is NOT a holiday resort...it is a holiday village. Summer months are overwhelming and worsening , and respite is required. If granted this application would set a precedence, and the village does not need any more extended camping especially in the heart of the village in an AONB, and close to homes of residents. I agree with the wording of the petition.

Will make the junction much more dangerous

More camping more traffic more people. Infrastructure cannot cope.

Don't make a mockery of the AONB or the fact that the access/egress from this site is a lethal accident just waiting to happen.

For the local area and its residents protect this important site

This really is the point of no return. Croyde is a beautiful and quintessential English village. It caters brilliantly for the tourist trade which brings in excellent benefits to local businesses. However, the village is at breaking point in the high season already, this unnecessary extension will not only impact local residents but also provide now tangible benefit to existing business. It’s such a beautiful area of land and historically important to residents young and old.

There is no need for further camping, let’s try to keep our village a village

Over urbanisation of what is meant to separate the village from the bay.

Croyde's roads turn into a carpark during the holidays. This kind of development intensifies the deep existing problem of congestion. Please stop this plan.

Why don't you planning officers ever listen to residents we don't want anymore camping. We don't need anymore camping your decision making is killing this village for residents

Croyde cannot cope in the summer months with the onslaught of people and vehicles - as a local you have to consider the balance of tourism with the impact on the environment, services, roads (which are a nightmare) and local

It’s very dangerous trying to cross here going to school. More camping brings more traffic making it even harder to cross!
