The release of this logo (finals week, heading into break) is nearly as suspect as its design. I feel strongly that University leadership knew there'd be backlash, and tried 'slipping one past us' by releasing this during Finals, and the Holidays, when our minds would be elsewhere. While I think chances are slim they'll change it, they should be taken to task for the process.

This logo does not represent UNH. Even if it is trying to tie the Manchester and Durham campuses together, it is unprofessional and very generic. There is always a push for something new, but why would you forsake the values and traditions of this university? It didn't start in Manchester. It started in Durham. Please rethink this logo. It does not represent our hard work making this campus great.

This logo signifies the bad decsion making made in general by the university. Why would you cut the smaller skills classes that make students form UNH sought after in the work place? Not to mention lack of funding for the agricultural programs, this is an agricultural school. This logo should have been designed by a student or alumni, not an outside company.

Not only does this logo not represent the heartbeat of the University, but it was a gross misuse of institutional funds to pay someone to design a logo so simplistic and void of creative talent.

A blue and white NH doesn't really stand for much of the University. That could represent anything. If you were to change the logo and make it combine all the institutions, 1. don't use a shield. That is the stereotypical the fallback design, 2. Perhaps include the ocean and mountains. New Hampshire is a beautiful place of amazing foliage, access to the ocean and the mountains. We are a prestigious state university proud of where we are. We should portray ourselves through the logo as such.

While I support the reasons for the change the logo could have been a lot better. This looks like a 4th grade art project. When I see this logo I picture UNH students taking tests with Crayola crayons.
