A contest would have been a great idea, or at the very least an opportunity provided for students to vote on a design. That being said, having worked in marketing for close to twenty years, $65k for a University logo is actually kind of a bargain.

i actually like it better than the old one. as an alum of manchester i'm happy to see all 3 campuses share the same logo. there will always be originality in each campus, but having them representing by buildings seemed old fashioned..

As an alumnus, this blatant lack of forethought and innovation is appalling in a school like UNH. C'mon, you can do better!

Students should have created a logo and won scholarships for it. That wasy we could also advertize by telling prospective students that we do things like this at OUR UNH.This logo is too simple, and does not feel UNH.

Either the advisory board involved in this or Huddleston, should be sacked.

This is a great design for an insurance company.

This new logo gives UNH no identity. it's so generic looking.

I graduated in 2010 and they did ask out input on the new designs. They were all horrible. They all featured crest background, the same general colors, and big, easy block fonts. I can only hope they take all this negative feedback and go back to the drawing board for something original, well don't, and representative of the university.

There has to be another option.

That is the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard come from UNH

For a University that is supposedly deeply concerned with its student body's participation in politics and community, it was pretty unkind to neglect to ask for our input on what they're going to use to represent us.

Not a good look at all to represent NH and how we feel as a state, very blah looking.
