This closure will cause too much disruption on the roads for everyone attending school and surrounding areas.

We drive our children to school this route and would be a nightmare to have a closure for 2 months!

This is far too long to keep road closed as it will cause a great deal of dispruption

Complete closure not required. Will cause major distribution for anyone travelling in and out of the area. Consideration should be given for alternative measures such as traffic lights

I use this road on a regular basis and I do not believe there is a suitable alternative

The closure will impact the school greatly and affect the learning of the children who attend

I work at Monkshill , so having the road closed for that long would be very inconvenient to me..

We the local residents object to the way this project is being approached. You cannot deny access to local people and businesses and their property plus services, like for example ambulances, refuse collection etc. Suitable access must be provided.

This road closure will cause terrible inconvenience for a lot of people. The main diversion is through a very thin single track country lane ( Monkshill Rd) which will struggle to cope with all the extra traffic, especially if there are lorries going to the solar farm works. Can they not use traffic lights etc instead of having a full closure?

A nine week closure will cause major disruption in this area for local people. If this could be broken down into shorter periods or overnight works, although not ideal it would be more workable, especially given the frequency of road works and closures in this area

The consistent display of incompetence from Kent highways and the local authorities has an outsized impact on all of the villages surrounding Faversham, a full closure will isolate vulnerable individuals not just in Graveney but elsewhere, through disproportionate congestion caused by the local authorities' inability to think ahead.
STOP.

This will mean gridlock again along monkshill rd and probably ongoing problems with our water supply will be affected due to the extra traffic. What happens if we have another water leak and monkshill rd is closed again at the same time !!

This bit of road keeps being closed, the last time it was chaos trying to get down Monks Hill Road with all the lorries coming the other way! Either feeling unsafe with them trying to get past or having to wait ages for them to pass

Closing the road will cause huge huge problems. The alternative route via MonksHill Rd leads to gridlock with huge lorries, vans trying to squeeze through parts which are single track. There have been endless closures on the road in the past 18 months, convoys of lorries for the solar development. All for the convenience of huge companies. Its time for Highways to consider local residents businesses and their customers. Put them first this time and force the contractor to accommodate local access.

This will cause chaos as it does every time no access to the village via Head Hill

I totally agree with the arguments put forward and living on the Four Horseshoes Park we constantly have ambulances called for emergencies and this will lead to loss of life with big delays and dreadful inconvenience for the whole village.
