As a home to school transport provider we use this road daily, as we collect a child from Graveney. The children are already on the vehicle for the maximum time without lengthy diversions down narrow country roads in a mini bus. We need to be able to transport them to school safely.

7.09km of trenchwork is not going to be carried-out in one continuous open-trench as a single long-term operation. The Replacement Pipeline, from Graveney Road to The Four Horseshoes Section, would, in effect cut-off The Whole of Goodnestone, The Graveney School etc from normal access. The Management needs to be by Multiway Traffic Light Control, in suitable sections in order to maintain minimum waiting times between phases . . .

KCC have a very recent track record of not co-ordinating road works and creating unnecessary stress on all road users.
More thought is required to investigate why the road needs to be closed and why can't SGN use more work force to minimise closure and disruption.

Bad enough with the construction traffic as it is - just for once let's have common sense and consideration for those affected the most. Don't close this road, it will cause issues especially if there are problems on the A299

Privatised utilities regularly drive over people’s lives for profit - they should be made to use the least disruptive course of action, whatever the cost

Its becoming a corporate through route with no reverence for the village and the residents.

This is a completely unworkable closure for the huge amount of parents dropping their children at nursery on the monkshill farm site.

This proposal cannot go ahead. It would have a significant negative impact on local businesses in the area and would directly prevent me from accessing a business I rely on.
