Any footballing governing body should honour his memory as we football fans have. All football club players have squad numbers some up in the forties so why the high handed attitude over the No. 1 shirt.

I am requesting you please reconsider your decision not to allow AFC Rushden & Diamonds to retire the shirt no 1 & allow no 17 to be used for the goalkeeper in its place.
