Being a former goalkeeper for AFC Rushden & Diamonds, I wouldn't have wanted to have been the keeper to have worn the number 1 shirt! The number 17 shirt was the one to wear and number 1 was and always will be for Dale Roberts!

So they r saying the goalkeeper must wear number one in a day and age were a striker can wear 45 or in the case of Ivan zamerano back in the day for Internet 1+8 instead of 18 so he could still pretend to be a number 9 does the number really mater
