The sport has enough problems at the top end surely they need to lighten up and concentrate on the game and show that comment sense prevails

He was once a valued and respected member of Nottingham forest dc he will always be honoured and respected not only as an NNFC player but as a rushden and diamond player and his name should always be remembered

Outraged at the level of disregard from the league for an outstanding gesture by a club which loved Dale Roberts. It is a mark of respect from the football club and should be honoured. Manchested City have shirt number 23 retired in honour of Marc Vivien Foe so there is no justification to why this shouldn't stand also
