If the FA uphold the decision made by The Southern League it will show a total lack of compassion and disrespect to Dale's family, his friends, his Club and to the United Counties League. In the first instance shame on you Southern League. Hopefully the FA will not want to share that shame.

Southern league get a grip, does it matter if player does not wear 1-11 and in the circumstances your decision is franklynsigraceful

I don't think I've seen anything so bureaucratically pathetic as this decision, anyone who knows anything about RDFC knows the history of Dale Roberts and the reasons behind retiring number 1. Shame on the league.

It doesn't and should not matter to the league what numbers a club decides to allocate its players as long as those players can be identified by officials at games. Complete nonsense from this league. Oh and so the ref & lino know.... the goalkeeper wears a different colour shirt to his team mates
