Petition against the proposed parking charges to Barry Island

Tgus would not be good for small businesses and I think should be reconsidered

Please don't do this the Island trade would suffer and it's getting a much better place to visit. Please keep local business's going.

I work at the island so I couldn't afford to work there..I also feel it will put people off visiting and business will close..

How to make a town a ghost town. Council has little vision.

This willbshow a huge decline in people who visit. Myself being one of them who regularly visit. Especially in winter with the dog

Yet another hidden form of taxation. That will have a heavy impact on a already struggling town. Impacting the local community and local business.

Have lots of family on Barry Island. I am against the proposed parking changes. This will drive away visitors.

This could be the nail in the coffin for many Barry Island businesses and will be detrimental to public health as Barry Island is widely used as a place of exercise for young and old who simply can't afford to pay. I'll certainly be spending less time there if the proposals are pushed through.

Ridiculous to charge when we need tourists and daytrippers. If they do come then £10 is far too much - zero is better.

These charges are too high and any enforcement likely to be ineffective. Barry Island is a great place to visit and £10 all day parking will keep people away.

Ridiculous, the council should be supporting local business not stifling them with greedy, money grabbing charges for their customers.

This would be a disaster for locals and shop owners.
