I work at the island so I couldn't afford to work there..I also feel it will put people off visiting and business will close..

This could be the nail in the coffin for many Barry Island businesses and will be detrimental to public health as Barry Island is widely used as a place of exercise for young and old who simply can't afford to pay. I'll certainly be spending less time there if the proposals are pushed through.

Ridiculous to charge when we need tourists and daytrippers. If they do come then £10 is far too much - zero is better.

These charges are too high and any enforcement likely to be ineffective. Barry Island is a great place to visit and £10 all day parking will keep people away.
