Absolutely ridiculous. Barry Island needs all the visitors it can get to support the local businesses and charging for parking just stops people coming.

£6 for anything more than an hour is excessive. Fairer for £1 for 2 hours as if you want to walk the dog and have a coffee or ice cream you are automatically over an hour!

Parking in Barry is hard enough anyway without having to pay over the top prices when you finally can. COPD/ASTHMA sufferer who isn’t dying quick enough to get a disabled badge so couldn’t park way out of town and walk into town to enjoy the beach.
