What about the poor people who work in Barry, may be on minimum wage & not close enough to get public transport, this could put these people out of jobs, who could afford £8 a day 5 days a week.

We use the beach all year round, and it would mean that we would have to stop coming especially in the summer period

Work over Barry Island shouldn't have to pay to work! Also should not be 1 hour only to many disabled as well takes the car spaces up.

Awful idea, am sure VOGC want to kill off everything good about this town. Remove all green space to put houses to generate money for the coffers, charge people to park to visit our lovely beach and fantastic hard working coffee shops. It will destroy the trade and tourism that has been built up over the years. What will be the point of the proposed eateries when no one will want to visit because of the cost to park!

In full support, a better more resident and business friendly strategy is needed.

Such a shame for everyone who visit the beach daily for meet up and coffee. I take my elderly parents there daily but this will have to stop

Town centre practically destroyed by the threat of parking charges so who thought it such a great idea to do the same to the island? Less money spent on consultants for advice the paidofficers should be able to give would save this authority many thousands of pounds
