Absolute madness, there should be more free parking on the island to encourage tourists and keep local businesses in business.

Why charge for parking? A beach should be enjoyed by everyone all year round. It’s a nice day out, that £10 some families may not be able to afford (as that could be all they have to feed there children, or put towards the gas/electric) so they will have to disappoint there children and for what? So you can get a bonus each month. We want this to stay a beach for everyone to enjoy...not for people to think cannot go there as what was once a free beach now costs an arm and a leg. £10 may not seem like a lot but it is if you are barely bringing in enough to cover essentials! Now think is this for your benefit or the people that come on a daily basics, with there children, kids, partners, friends?

Charges are too high for over 1hr visits but less than 2 or 3 hrs. £6 is fair for the full day, but half day or less should be £2 or £3.
