The buffet meal plan is horrible and the maple street locations should be open on weekends.

Parent: My son has gone through close to $200 on the declining balance already. He is on the diplomat minimum plan.

Such a fine university as MU should be embarrassed that this is how they sustain their student body and spend the hard-earned money they receive!

I am being charged more for less food. They push buffet swipes on me and then the buffets are never open.

I really liked the old meal plan, and while I understand the predictability issue, I also think since Miami spent so much on creating maple street and Armstrong that students should be able to eat their without having to purchase a meal plan in which they over abundantly have swipes. I live next to Harris and I believe I go to dinning halls once a week if that. I feel as if I should have the liberty to choose where ever I want to eat on campus, instead of feeling like I'm now forced to eat at dinning halls. If Miami does continue this plan then I really hope that they offer longer times for meals as well as more healthy food options.

I am a parent and although I appreciate the thought and agree the plan needs to be changed, student recommendations about the way in which their parents' dollars will best be used should be considered.

This costs me more money than the last because I will never use 200+ dining hall swipes, but I certainly don't need $3000 in declining balance. Keep the original meal plan. It was a major plus when deciding between colleges for me.

Please do not make these changes to the meal plan. This does not meet the needs of our student body.

The old meal plan system has always served me well.
